Sunday Stealing: The Meme About Me, Myself and I

Today we ripped this meme off a blogger named Lucy at the blog The Smallest Smallholding. She states that she was tagged by her friend Amy at the blog Turn to the Music. But, it was probably stolen there as well. So, of course, that will be as far as we go.

Saturday 9: Elected

Happy Friday and Happy Halloween!

And it’s her birthday…

9 years ago, I met this pretty snob. Who would have thought that we would become the best of friends?

Ours was never a perfect friendship. Long distance friendships are difficult to manage because of the time difference, the cost and the distance. There were times that we won’t be able to talk for months and we would be on each others’ throats for not making the effort to communicate. I’ve been guilty countless of times but never did it cross my mind to forget her completely. I’m glad she’s always there to understand and forgive me for my misgivings and shortcomings.

Probably if all friendships could withstand the pressure, differences and distance, there will never ever be broken friendships at all.

On her birthday, I only want the best for her. She deserves it. Happy birthday to my BFF! I miss you, Love! I’ll see you soon!

Christmas so soon…

It’s my fifth day here at the hospital and this morning I woke up to the thought that Christmas is just around the corner.

I suddenly thought about my Christmas list and the photo holiday cards that I usually send out every year to close friends and family. I wish I could start on them once I’m out of here.

Last Christmas was one of the worst for me. A lot of sad things happened all in one day that I had hard time coping with. I just hope that this year’s gonna be different. I want it to be really merry and bright, just like how my old Christmases were.
